Stage Set up

4 piece band.
3 vocals across the front. Guitars SR and SL. Full drum kit at the back centre of the stage. Bass can go on either side of the drum kit.

Monitors

4 mixes and 3 monitors. 1 mix Stage Right (Daisy), 1 Stage Left (Rachelle) and 1 for the Drummer (Kim). The bass player (Carolyn) has her own in-ear monitors.
All monitor mixes should have an EQ. No effects are needed for monitors.
Drum monitor (Kim) must be suitable for Kick Drum and Bass signal.
On larger stages, the Stage Left (Rachelle) mix should have 2 monitors, 1 at the vocal mic position and 1 at the keyboard location.

Back line

Painting Daisies travel with their own backline including drums on most tours. No substitutions please unless prior approval given by Painting Daisies.

PA System

The PA system should be of good quality, in good working order and suitable for live bands.
It should consist of bass bins, and the whole system should be capable of providing a full range signal at 105db at the FOH position easily.
Painting Daisies are a rock band but the concern with their sound is quality not volume.
Effects units should consist of 1 good quality reverb unit and 1 good quality delay unit. A good quality multi effects unit is acceptable.
A full 31 band EQ should be at the FOH location for the main speakers.

On certain tours Painting Daisies will travel with their own mixing board and microphones. Painting Daisies will advise the venue if this is to occur.

Other Items

The venue shall supply a system tech that shall be sober and shall not use any drugs throughout the sound check and show.
The tech should be familiar with the system and, in the event Painting Daisies are not touring with their own tech, be able to mix the band in a competent and professional manner.

This rider represents the minimum requirements for Painting Daisies. Please contact the band if you have any questions or are unable to meet these requirements.
We will be happy to work with you to make the show as professional as possible.
